Overview
When a Spam review ticket is logged via PSA, your Service Desk needs to check multiple areas to determine whether the email is genuinely malicious or falsely flagged. How do you make sure that this process is quick, easy and ensures the validity of the email address?
To solve this problem, we use automation that reads the email attached to the ticket and checks well-known indicators (see flow below). It also queries a third-party service to see if the domain is blacklisted—giving you the information needed to decide whether to block the sender.
Powered by AI AutoStart, the Add User to Blocklist feature ensures that by the time a Service Desk engineer opens the ticket, Pia has already completed its analysis and presents a clear recommendation—saving time, reducing human error, and enabling faster, more confident decisions about whether to block the sender.
Flow
- When a ticket is logged via PSA, Pia will read the emails attached to the ticket.
- Pia will then extract SPF, DKIM, DMARC ratings and check AbuseIPDB for suspicious domains:
- If the IP Address is found to be spam, Pia will present you with the option to add the IP Address to your blocklist.
- Otherwise, Pia will present you with the findings in the chatbot and complete automation execution.
